VIEWING/COMPATIBILITY OF DVDs
Idol-Mania does not guarantee playback of DVD titles we ship on ALL brands/models of DVD players. But they should be played on MOST players in the market today. So far we have rarely experienced incompatibility. We recommend, however, that they be viewed using DVD players that meet the following criteria:
Should you be concerned about whether our DVDs are compatible on your DVD player, we recommend an initial purchase of 1 DVD.
If at first a DVD you purchase from us does not play when inserted, please try ejecting it and then reinsert it into your player. Please note that DVD titles on our site may differ in quality. The DVD may or may not have a menu.
DISCREET PACKAGING
Packages shipped will NOT display "Idol-Mania" out of respect for the privacy of customers.
Titles shipped will not come with inserts, cases, thus reducing the weight of packaging and the risk of embarrassment in case the wrong person opens your package. However, the DVDs contain artwork on the surface on the DVD.
SHIPPING
All orders will be shipped out within 3 days of being placed via Royal Mail. UK customers please give 5 business days for delivery of goods from date ordered / paid. Overseas customers please give up to 14 business days.
Refused Deliveries
If a shipment is returned to us after postage have attempted to deliver the goods and the consigment has been refused or not accepted by any person at the delivery address, a further charge for redelivery will be payable. If you do not wish to pay an additional charge the order will be cancelled and you will be refunded for the full cost of the goods on the order. Postage charges will not be refunded cases such as this.
REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY
Faulty Goods
If you return goods to us as faulty, we will test them. If they are found to be faulty, they will be replaced and returned at no extra cost to you. Dues to nature of product, refunds cannot be issued.
Unwanted Goods - Cooling off Period
All sales between Idol-Mania and the consumer are governed by the Distance Selling Regulations. These regulations are in place to offer protection to consumers who purchase goods on the internet and other mail order type transactions.
Within these regulations, the consumer has the right to a 'cooling off period' of 7 working days beginning on the day after the day that delivery of the goods takes place. The cooling off period is there to allow consumers to change their mind after they have received the goods. Please note, the cooling off period will not apply in cases where the goods have been opened / used.
If you change your mind about a purchase you have made within the cooling off period, you are entitled to return any unopened goods to Idol-Mania for a full refund

You must return the goods in the sealed package they arrived in. Once they have been inspected to ensure they are unopened, we will refund your money in no more than 10 days.
In all cases, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Idol-Mania, and for the safe keeping of the goods during transportation. For this reason, when returning goods you are strongly advised to use an insured postal service that requires signature upon delivery, as idol-Mania cannot be held responsible for damage to goods in transit back to ourselves, or for packages that are lost in transit.
We're sorry - you may not exchange titles. Therefore, please double-check details when you place your order! Exchange of a same title is only given for faulty discs as stated above.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
your name
address
email address
Note that we do not collect or store your credit card details, that is handled securely by the Payment Service Provider. We never get to see your credit card details.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
We will never transfer information held about you to any third party unless required to do so by law.
